Come join in the festival of the Lunar Year which is celebrated widely in China, Korea, and other Asian countries!
The stage performances include the beautiful, transparent sound of the Chinese “koto” instrument played by Ms. Sue Hong, traditional Chinese folk dance, and charming kids’ entertainment!
Date/Time: February 15th (Sunday), 5:30pm~8:00pm
Place: Shoppers’ Plaza Wave 101 Large Hall
Limited Number: 100 persons
Fee: Potluck (bring a dish per person) OR
¥1,000 per person (¥500 for elementary/junior high students)

UFRA「春節」祝賀会 Spring Festival
中国や韓国など、アジアの各国で祝われている旧正月。
ステージでは中国古筝の演奏者 隋虹さんが透明・繊細にして豪快な演奏をします。
和琴とは全く異なる音色をお楽しみ下さい。他にも中国の民族舞踊や子供たちによる発表があります。みんなで旧正月を祝いましょう。
時： 2月15日（日）午後5時30分～8時
所： 市民プラザWAVE101大ホール
定員：先着100人
費用：交流会をポットラック形式で行うため、料理を一人一品お持ち下さい。
料理を用意できない方は1000円（高校生以下は500円）

30th Urayasu City Fireworks Display
30th Urayasu City Fireworks Display
Date: July 26th (Sat.)
*In case of rain or strong wind, it will be postponed to the next day.
Time: 7:30pm- 8:45pm
Place: Hinode area (same place as last year)
There will be free bus services from Tozai Line's Urayasu Station and Keiyo Line's Shin-Urayasu Station.
This year's key word of the display is "FLY HIGH!"and there will be 8, 700 shots of fireworks.

A Few Images from the Urayasu Sanjya Matsuri
As the summer Olympics rolls around, so does the once every
four years Urayasu Sanjya Matsuri. [ Three Shrine Festival ]. Now on the border
across from Tokyo this once poor fishing village could only afford to
hold their festival every four years. Nowadays its a HUGE party, and
the community really comes together to have a good time and carry
the heavy portable shrines around the neighborhood.
